Merry Met!
Hi, I'm Ashe. I'd like to say thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you'll check back often. I was away for quite awhile, but I'm back with a vengeance! I'm loving blogging and plan to update at once a week at the very least.
I'm a thirty-something mother of 2. I have two wonderful little boys and many wonderful and supportive people in my life. I live in the South East US, right smack in the middle of the Bible Belt. Although that poses obstacles in living an openly Wiccan life, I'm finding that those who really matter don't care. I'm not "out of the broom closet" to everyone yet, but I'm working on it.
I started my blog because I've found I learn and retain information best when I write things down, and the process of blogging requires a lot of thought and attention. I'm hoping that as I share the things I'm learning with those that happen upon me I can help someone else in the process. I'm also hoping this process will help me stay focused on one thing at a time. I have so many interests I tend to jump from one to another all the time, jack-of-all-trades, master of none. I'm going to finish learning the tarot before I move on to something else!
For the last year I've been working on a business plan. I have had a dream of owning my own business for quite sometime. I believe there is a strong market in my area for a metaphysical / new age store, and I intend to make sure we have one. I feel it's my calling, to provide a safe environment for those walking The Path, and to educate the community. I'm wrapping up my business plan soon and will be looking for financing. It's an exciting time.
I'm a witch, but I'm not looking to sell you a psychic reading, a tarot reading, or hold seances to contact your dead relatives. I don't do spell work for others. I do however, have a good knowledge and practice of herbs, healing, and OBE / astral projection and want to share what I know.
